St. Joseph's School was established in 1930 by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Mission at the request of the local parishioners. We cater for Years 1 - 8, with approximately 200 pupils currently attending the school.
St. Joseph's Mission Statement is:
Always Faithful - Pumau Ki te Atua
to the teachings and values of Jesus Christ
to provide quality education
to instil a social conscience into all students and to ensure that they are equipped with the skills to face their futures confidently.
We have nine teaching classroom spaces, an excellent Information Technology Room. The children have access to a modern adventure playground and an extensive playing field, rugby field, cricket pitch, swimming pool, netball, tennis and basketball courts.
Religious Education and Music play an important part in the school's culture.
The children benefit from the highly qualified and experienced staff who are dedicated to providing activity based education, Individual Special Needs are catered for and there is regular interaction with other local Catholic and Waikato Schools.
